Hello, dear readers! We are pleased to welcome you to our US travel blog. You might be wondering who is behind this blog and why it was created in the first place, which is why we want to use this space to tell you just that. We want to formally present ourselves, so we can make your reading experience more personal.
So, Who are We
“Who are we” is an epistemological question that has troubled philosophers for centuries. What is to be a human, what defines our humanity? What is the meaning of life? Well, of course, you can find the meaning of life by reading this blog!
Enough jokes, we are very happy that you are here and that you share our passion for travelling and exploring the United States. We are a group of friends who come from various places in the country and we met while studying at university.
Once we graduated, we went back to our respective states, but we had grown so close that we promised to ourselves that we would keep meeting to keep our friendship alive. Most surprisingly, we actually came through with our promise.
Each year we meet at least twice. One of us welcomes the others to their home state and shows them around. Each time we see something new, something obscure that might not be visited by regular tourists.
The second trip of the year, however, we go to a place none of us had been to. Our goal is to ultimately visit all 50 states and to continue to enrich our travelling experience by picking different towns and sites every time.
Why We Made This Blog
We made this blog to detail our experience and to give truthful recommendations to people who want to travel like us. We want to encourage both Americans and foreigners to visit beautiful places around the United States, especially those that are not featured on every article of the most visited sites in the country.
To travel is to find oneself over and over again and we wanted to share our philosophy and passion with like-minded people. If you are a visitor of this blog, then we already have a lot in common!
Blog Contents
As we already mentioned, we want to dedicate our blog to places in the United States that are less known, because you can already find what you need about them online. There are not that many travelling blogs about the more obscure tourist attractions, so we thought that was the perfect theme for our blog.
The United States is a massive country that hides many beautiful places within its borders, so we believe every little place deserves recognition.
We also don’t want to limit ourselves by just giving you sites of historical significance such as famous manors or monuments. We want you to get the full experience and we also want to be able to serve the interests of as many people as possible.
This is why we will tell you about our favorite parks, hikes, museums, and everything in-between, so you can pick for yourself based on your own personality. We hope we can make this blog accessible and enjoyable to read.
Thank You
Thank you for reading this section and thank you for reading our blog. We hope we can become good friends as we already share so much!
