Welcome to Our US Blog About Travelling

Times Square

We extend our warmest welcome to our lovely readers. We are excited to present you with our blog dedicated to travelling in the United States. There’s so much to be seen in this beautiful country. After all, with its 3.8 million square miles, it’s the third biggest state in the world.

Whether that be historical monuments, feats of modern architecture and technology, or the thousands of state and national parks, the United States offers something interesting to whoever seeks it. On this page, we will tell you which are the most popular tourist destinations.

Most Visited Tourist Sites in the US

Check out the most visited places in the United States to make your travelling list.

Times Square, NYC, NY

The famed Times Square with its hundreds of screens and ads playing all the time is the most visited place in the entire country and in the entire world! Times Square welcomes approximately 42 million tourists every year.

If you’re the Grinch of your friends group, you should absolutely visit Times Square at Christmas time to get your Christmas spirit back. A lot of people also go there for New Year’s Eve to see the ball drop, but just keep in mind that you should be there on the morning of the 31st to get a good spot.

Central Park, NYC, NY

New York is indeed the most visited city in the US, and we can’t blame the tourists, the city is magical. Central Park is the “lungs” of the concrete jungle and offers a relaxing environment in the middle of the hustle and bustle of the city.

Union Station, Washington, D.C.

The most visited place in the capital is the famous Union Station which sees over 36 million visitors every year. The station, built in 1907, is a magnificent example of the Beaux-Arts style of architecture and few train stations can compare in beauty.

Las Vegas Strip, Las Vegas, NV

You’ve seen it in countless movies and we promise you that it’s just as you imagine it to be. The busy Las Vegas Strip welcomes about 30 million people each year with its shiny hotels, casinos, and fun clubs. Just remember to gamble responsibly and to not get married to a stranger because the Elvis impersonator can actually officiate a wedding.

Grand Central Terminal, NYC, NY

If there’s another station that can compare to Union Station that is the Grand Central Terminal in New York. Similarly, it was also made in the popular-for-the-time Beaux-Arts style, but rather than being bathed in white, Grand Central Terminal exhibits rich emerald and gold tones. We suggest you take a train from New York to DC or vice versa to visit both stations.

Walt Disney World, Orlando, FL

Everyone needs a little magic in their lives, no matter their age, and the 17 million yearly visitors to Walt Disney World prove this. The park uses 27,000 acres of land in Orlando, Florida and it’s home to four thematic parks and dozens of hotels. We suggest you take a week off to be able to fully explore Disneyworld.

Disneyland, Anaheim, CA

You knew they were going to be more Disney entries on the list. Disneyland, Anaheim, is the first park of its kind. Ever since it opened its doors in 1955, it has been one of the most beloved tourist attractions in California that welcomes 16 million Disney fans every year.

Golden Gate Bridge, San Francisco, CA

If you’re a Hitchcock fan, like some people in our writing collective, then Golden Gate Bridge should be on top of your must-see list. Arguably the most iconic bridge in the world, Golden Gate Bridge sees 13 million visitors every year. You can observe it from the Golden Gate Park or you can drive or walk on it while indulging in the beautiful sceneries.
